We collect the following information when you use ClearScan:

• Account information: name, email address, phone number (optional), and country.
• Scan metadata: scan type, file name, and file size. We do not store the scan file itself — it is permanently deleted immediately after analysis.
• Usage data: pages visited, buttons clicked, and interaction patterns collected via Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for service improvement.
• Communications: emails or messages you send to our support team.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To deliver your educational scan report to you.
• To send transactional emails (order confirmations, reports, waitlist notifications).
• To improve our platform based on anonymised usage analytics.
• To comply with applicable legal obligations.

We never sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Medical Scan Files

Your scan files are uploaded securely over an encrypted connection, processed by our AI, and then permanently and irreversibly deleted from our servers. We retain no copy of your imaging files after analysis is complete. Only non-sensitive metadata (file name, file size, scan type) is stored for your order record.

5. Data Sharing

We share your data only with:

• Certified radiologists — only on the AI + Doctor Review plan, and only for the purpose of reviewing your report.
• Email delivery services (Resend) — to send you your report and notifications.
• Analytics providers (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager) — anonymised usage data only.
• Payment processors — to process your transaction securely.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data (name, email, order details) for up to 3 years after your last transaction, unless you request earlier deletion. Scan files are deleted immediately after analysis. You may request deletion of all your personal data at any time by emailing support@clearscan.ai.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate personal data
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Object to or restrict certain types of processing
• Port your data to another service
